We believe in providing users with the best experience possible, enabling them with robust customizations and functionalities with the community to further their journey.As Junior Community Developer for the Maveryx Community, you will support in our mission by working directly with the Senior Program Manager and Community Developer on new features and functionalities for the community. You will be directly involved in the entire development process, exercising your creative problem solving and critical thinking as we envision and execute on new customizations, functionalities and features while ensuring the overall health and resilience of the code base behind the community is kept in mind.Role Responsibilities:Assisting the web development team with all aspects of website and application design, from conceptualization to execution in line with the Community development strategy.Supporting our operations and development teams through testing and maintenance of backend and front-end features and functionalities.Brainstorming creative and dynamic solutions to resolve issues, or build features requested by our partner teams.Clearly and concisely document all feature development in support of future development.Executing on a backlog of updates and bug fixes for existing features.Participating in active cycle of feedback and development prior to quality assurance with stakeholders and program manager.Supporting automation needs of the wider customer success operations function.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or similar field or equivalent training.Experience working with coding languages such as SQL, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.Experience working with database technologies such as Snowflake.A solid understanding of web design and development principles.Good planning, analytical, and decision-making skills.Ability to be flexible within the development cycle and adapt to new requirements and projects.Clear and concise communication capabilities regarding development issues and status updates.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Khoros Community or other Community based software.Understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG).Familiarity with responsive design techniques and frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Foundation).Exposure to server-side scripting languages.Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).Find yourself checking a lot of these boxes but doubting whether you should apply?
