They will be responsible for the architecture and frameworks on which the UI runs. This individual will also be a part of the Sendero Messaging team that works to provide digital communication channels to our first-in-class, modern communication product, Genesys Cloud. As well as the administrative UIs used by our customers to configure their experience. They will be able to influence the frameworks used and bring modern technologies, patterns, and designs to the product.Responsibilities / Job DutiesDevelop new web applications for our digital messaging platform using React, Angular and/or VueHelp modernize some of the legacy UIs we have into modern frameworks and architecture.Contribute to our team-maintained continuous deployment pipeline.Perform collaborative code reviews with other developersRecommend new technologies as components of a solution when appropriate.Troubleshoot production support issues post-deployment and provide solutions.Ownership of features beginning to end from design documents and reviews to acceptance testing and deploymentWork with product and UX teams to field requests and build generic solutions that benefit all our customers/stakeholders.You will work in small autonomous teams.You will receive mentorship as you get up to speed with our development environment and tech stacksRequired Qualifications2+ years’ experience in software engineering and in JavaScript based frameworksExposure to modern ECMAScript features (Promises, async/await, classes, etc.)Experience with TypeScript is a mustHave built complete UIs beforeDOM, CSS, etc.Exposure to one or more web dev frameworks (React, Vue, Angular, Ember)Exposure to browser js apis (DOM, postmessage, localstorage, etc.)Must have Node ecosystem and JavaScript tooling experience(Vite, Webpack, etc.)Knowledge and experience with gitExperience writing and maintaining automated tests (unit and integration)You solve problems and make significant contributions.You are curious and keep informed about new tools and technologies.Can provide and accept constructive criticism for pull request reviews.You have experience collaborating with external teams (product, UX, other dev teams)Our Benefits:Flexible work schedules and work-from-home optionsDevelopment and career growth opportunitiesExcellent pension schemeBonus schemeHealth InsuranceIncome Protection & Life AssuranceIf a Genesys employee referred you, please use the link they sent you to apply.About Genesys:Every year, Genesys orchestrates billions of remarkable customer experiences for organizations in more than 100 countries.
