Our Data & AI team is seeking a Principal Data Scientist to join us in building intelligent automation and insights into our products.As a Principal Data Scientist, you will collaborate with executive and cross-functional stakeholders to align business objectives with data science initiatives, identify high impact business challenges and opportunities, analyze complex datasets, extract meaningful insights, and develop/deploy/monitor data driven solutions. You will mentor and set the technical direction of the team. Your passion and expertise in data analysis, statistics, and machine learning will be instrumental in driving data-driven products and services across the banking industry. Responsibilities:Leads high-impact and complex projects, setting the technical direction for these projects Collaborates with executive stakeholders and third-party partners to align business objectives with data science initiatives.Develops efficient, scalable, and production-ready code. Strong experience in advanced data manipulation, cleaning, and transformation techniques at scale.Develops, deploys, and monitors complex machine learning models with the ability to lead and guide teams in implementing programming best practices and adopting emerging technologies.A thought leader within the organization –  uses combination of skills, knowledge, and effective communication to influence and shape the organization's data-driven decision-making processesStays current with knowledge of the latest trends, technologies and developments in analytics and machine learning to begin to help develop and implement data science strategies, optimize efficiency and identify new value streams, and contribute to industry conferences and publications Identify and prepare data sourcesAnalyze large amounts of data to discover trends and patternsResearch, create, and apply machine learning/statistical solutionsWork with colleagues to deploy and monitor solutions to complex machine learning or data-driven products Present findings to stakeholdersContinually deepen your knowledge of the technologies and developments in analytics and machine learningInfluence project direction, data-driven strategies, and the implementation of data science solutionsMentor and guide junior data scientists within the organization. Responsible for sharing knowledge, providing training, and helping to develop the skills of their team membersEngage in cross-functional collaboration: work closely with other business units to identify data science opportunities and drive initiatives that have a broader impact on the organizationContribute to the advancement of the data science field through research and thought leadership. Publish thought leadership articles, attend conferences, and stay updated with the latest trends and techniques.
