Job Summary:Title: Intern – Music Publishing (In Person, Unpaid, For College Credit)                 Location: Los Angeles, CA (On-Site)The Role:Roc Nation, a Live Nation joint venture, is looking for a highly motivated, organized, and enthusiastic individual, who is interested in learning more about the live entertainment and music industries. This internship will allow students to gain first-hand, experience in music publishing - the creation, management, and monetization of songs and the creatives who write and record them.Areas that you will be learning about as a Publishing Intern: Song registration and file organizationCoordinating songwriter sessionsHandling songwriter travel budgetsSearching for new talent with weekly reports to the departmentRelationship building with other departments within Roc Nation, as well as, Roc Nation Publishing’s administratorPublishing company organization and meeting preparationQualifications:Must be current student, enrolled in a Bachelor’s/Master’s program at an accredited college or universityMust be eligible to receive academic credit from their college or university for the duration of the internshipMust have a strong passion for music and stay up to date with the latest trends and top charting musicInterest in learning new web related technologies and softwareProficient in Microsoft Office Suite & Google DocumentsOrganized, with an ability to prioritize time-sensitive assignmentsFamiliarity with social networking sites desired. TikTok and Instagram are a mustFamiliarity with Keynote/PowerPointThis internship is available for the Fall semester.
