As a member of Analytics UX Research, you will call on your experience with various research techniques, using a mix of quantitative and qualitative methods to design and conduct studies that explore the behaviours, motivations and needs of our users across industries and around the world. Your work will be a foundational part for adding new products to Workday’s portfolio and result in highly articulate insights that inspire change at all stages of the product development lifecycle. Join our Analytics UX Research team and be part of setting the experience vision for Workday’s Analytics products.What you can expect:A chance to make your mark, working directly with customersAn opportunity to practice (or even build) multiple methods per the research needs you identifyA chance to use design thinking methodologies to generate ideas and align stakeholders with UX practitionersLeadership who will support you and develop your career growthA UX research community of practice to collaborate with, and opportunities to help evolve and improve itOpportunities to be mentored by other expert practitioners, and mentor researchers early in their own careersAs a UX Researcher you will:Work closely in your product area to identify research questions and objectives.Design and implement research using appropriate methods for the project, timelines, and business needs.Create durable research insights that align with user-centred design principles.Analyze data and findings to deliver actionable insights that inform business, product and design decisions.Socialise, collaborate, and present research work and findings to multiple teams and leaders, across the organization.Ability to visualise and present research data simply and clearly to diverse audiencesAbout YouKnowledge and understanding of evaluative, generative, quantitative and secondary research methods, and proficiency in at least one research methodology.A mid-level familiarity with the product development process.Applied experience with at least one research method.Advocates for the value of research to stakeholders and leadership.Basic Qualifications:A minimum of 1 year professional experience conducting research.Bachelors or Master’s degree in anthropology, sociology, psychology, political science, human-computer interaction (or other related field), or equivalent experience.Other Qualifications: Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment, at ease partnering with other researchers, designers, product managers, and developersSelf-motivated, and able to creatively solve and present good solutions to problems.Growing evidence of work translating research into business impact.Self-starter and strong finisher with a positive demeanorDirect experience and understanding of one or more of the following: SaaS, AI, and general analytics (e.g. BI or Data Management ETL)You are able to work 50% of the time from the Dublin office.Our Approach to Flexible Work With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote.
