Job Requisition ID #24WD79988Position Overview The Autodesk Consulting Services team is looking for someone to join our North American Advisory Consulting Services group as a Principal Consultant. As a necessary member of the Consulting Services team, you have experience defining and deploying strategies and solutions to use Common Data Environments and the strategic management and use of data as a competitive advantage in the construction industry and related disciplines. You should also have experience leading transformational change at the enterprise level, and building stronger, more useful organizations. The following are important areas of focus for Principal Consultants for Architecture and Engineering Services:Work with Autodesk's largest customers to define approaches to the management and use of data throughout the project and asset lifecyclesWork with Autodesk account teams to define a strategy (Customer Success Plan) for using Consulting Services and customer engagements to implement those strategies and solutionsWork with the Autodesk Consulting Project Management team to ensure delivery against the Customer Success PlanShape the Autodesk Consulting service offering, with regard to CDEs and data strategy, and how it is deliveredWork with specialists within Autodesk, and beyond, to support and shape the Autodesk product offeringResponsibilitiesBe a trusted partner to customers and internal Autodesk teamsHelp Autodesk customers guide transformational change by applying change management methodologiesLead facilitated workshops with Autodesk customers to identify solution opportunities and guide understanding on solution pathsLead or help create high-quality design, engineering, and operational management for customersDefine and track the value of solutions delivered to customers, and help document the impact of customer investment in Autodesk ConsultingParticipate in the development around new and expanded offerings as part of a comprehensive consulting delivery portfolioBuild the Autodesk Consulting brand by demonstrating expertise within the industry, i.e. presenting at Autodesk University and other industry events, publishing articles and position papers on industry trendsLead project delivery efforts, ensuring team members perform to qualityAdvise on project estimation and participate in business development activitiesThis is a remote roleYou will report to the Senior Manager of Consulting servicesMinimum QualificationsBachelor of Science degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering or related degreeSeven (7) years of hands-on experience in the Buildings industry (Autodesk products preferred), with a focus on the delivery of digital design, engineering, and management solutions across a business enterpriseDemonstrate excellence in, innovation, program management, change management, business process optimization, and communicationsDemonstrate ability to facilitate customer workshops using a variety of techniquesAnd ability to guide decisions and closure on issuesExperience working with diverse technical, sales, and project management teamsMust have a working knowledge of software development lifecycle processes and how to operate under structured project managementMust have, including experience conducting workshops, facilitating meetings, and delivering presentations to teams and customersWill break down complex topics into a common language understandable by non-technical/business-oriented audiencesAbility to travel 50% of the time, including international travelKnowledge of construction and construction management industry practices, main industry and technology focus areas would be:ConstructionConstruction ManagementCommon Data Environments / Data Strategy & Data Management#LI-DNILearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $114,100 and $184,580. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
