The Opportunity
Simpplr is looking for an experienced, dynamic and hands-on leader who has demonstrated achievement as an SDR leader and has a playbook of best practices you can share. You enjoy helping others succeed and seek to work at a fast-growing and fast-paced company. You will oversee a team of 12+ inbound and outbound SDRs. You must combine strategic thinking with operational insight and lead an already well respected team to increased productivity and effectiveness. Your Job Responsibilities
What you will be doing:
Lead the Sales Development organization in setting goals, objectives and quota achievement
Share and implement sales development best practices and cadences
Train, motivate, and coach SDRs/BDRs
Define metrics to drive team behavior and performance
Design and implement a scalable enablement program for existing and new SDRs/BDRs
Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to improve processes and implement campaigns
Align with sales leadership and AEs to achieve target account penetration and pipeline generation goals
Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of Simpplr products and technologies, competitors, and industry trends.
Create a motivating sales environment for your SDR/BDR team through learning and fun incentives.

Demonstrated experience we are looking for:
4+ years as a director of sales/business development team with 10+ reps
4+ years selling into enterprise organizations and 2+ years selling SaaS product
Salesforce, Salesloft (or other sales acceleration tool), LinkedIn Navigator and Zoominfo (or other data tools) proficiency
Experience working with 6sense highly desirable
Proven track record of delivering sales pipeline at commercial and enterprise accounts managing outbound prospecting teams.
Experience establishing SDR/BDR quotas and reporting on commissions
A broad knowledge of Cloud and SaaS.
Experience working in a closing role (desired)
Ability and willingness to walk the talk - you were once the best SDR in your team and can still do it, prove it and teach it
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting base pay for this role is between $145,000 - $225,000. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity and benefits.
