We are looking for a passionate and experienced Principal Product Manager to join our team and shape the future of our benchmarking and analytics solution. As financial institutions (FIs) strive to stay ahead in an increasingly competitive landscape, AI and data are at the forefront, turning the tide in the financial industry by delivering efficiency gains and competitive differentiation. These technologies are reshaping the industry by offering significant performance uplifts, managing risk, boosting efficiency, personalizing services, and cutting costs. This is where you come in. We are building an advanced benchmarking and analytics solution, designed to provide financial institutions with actionable insights to optimize their operations and financial performance. This product will deliver operational insights, financial insights, operational benchmarks, financial benchmarks, and peer benchmarks throughout the nCino solution.As the principal product manager, you will be responsible for driving the design, execution, launch, and delivery of our benchmarking and analytics offerings across nCino’s Bank Operating System. From interactive customer-facing reports and dashboards, to embedded insights, to APIs for generating conversational insights driven by our Gen AI-powered Banking Advisor, you will develop a cohesive vision for how data-driven insights will shape the future of nCino’s solutions. You will own the product roadmap, lead validation efforts with customers, and ensure seamless product launches and continuous growth. The ideal candidate has experience in analytics and benchmarking at a financial institution or fintech and is eager to transform financial services using AI and data, while growing their career at a fast-paced, public technology company. Responsibilities:Develop a deep understanding of the nCino Banking Operating System to become an expert on product-market fit, overall differentiation, and the application of data analytics and AI to deliver intelligence everywhere.Understand customer pain points in various banking segments and roles, translating these into a prioritized roadmap of problems to solve with the benchmarking and analytics solution.Manage the entire product lifecycle, from strategic planning to tactical activities.Collaborate with General Managers of each solution to inform the multi-year roadmap for nCino’s Bank Operating System, integrating data and AI.Drive the product road map to meet business objectives & goals while maintaining KPIs related to benchmarking and analytics adoption and utilization.Cultivate relationships with the nCino sales, marketing, and product delivery teams to successfully deliver benchmarking and analytics solutions to market, including key launch activities, monetization strategies (where appropriate), and implementation plans.Build a deep understanding of our customers and the market by conducting primary qualitative and quantitative research via customer visits that inform strategic product prioritization decisions.Be able to proficiently demo the nCino Bank Operating System, showcasing AI features so that you have the product knowledge to represent nCino at internal and external events, conferences, trade shows, etc.Requirements:Required:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing, Data Science, with 8+ years of Banking, Fintech, or Product Management experience, particularly in roles dealing with data analytics or AI; or combination of experience and education.Demonstrated dedication to quality and continuous improvement, especially in AI and analytics-driven processesAbility to motivate yourself and others, prioritize your own work, and adapt and thrive in a dynamic team environmentAbility to own qualitative and quantitative research from product strategy to execution, with an emphasis on data and AI insightsAbility to work with a variety of teams, gather input, synthesize feedback, and coordinate efforts across multiple areas of businessStrategic thinker with a deep understanding of the banking and financial services industryProven track record of successfully leading product development from ideation to launchStrong analytical skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex data setsExcellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of influencing cross-functional teams and stakeholdersAbility to validate product roadmaps with customers and incorporate feedbackExperience in leading early adopter conversations and developing strategic launch plansCapable of tracking feature adoption, interpreting success metrics, and driving customer awarenessDesired:Product Management experience for a Financial Institution or Fintech with a focus on benchmarking and analyticsPrior functional experience in commercial, small business, or consumer banking2+ years of experience working with AWS, Salesforce, or a comparable systemEmphasis on and passion for data analytics is a plusAdvanced degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing, Data Science, or an equivalent fieldExpertise in data visualization and user experience designFamiliarity with AI-driven analytics and conversational AI technologiesExperience in mentoring and leading junior product managers, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environmentProven ability to develop impactful ways to engage customers and advance adoption and reference-abilityOther:Position requires 15 percent travel, with more travel expected if the employee is not located at one of our main office locations If you thrive in a high-energy, entrepreneurial environment, we invite you to share your passion, ideas and excitement at nCino. nCino provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, protected veteran status, disability, genetics or other protected groups.
