Operation ManagerDescription -Job Summary• This role is responsible for managing a focused team of individual contributors (OSA’s) and supervisors, overseeing day-to-day operations of the Print operations service delivery function in line with organizational policies. The role provides Print infrastructure and application infrastructure lifecycle technical support, including planning, project management, installation, on-going management, monitoring, troubleshooting, and de-installation. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and policy development. The role also manages the team’s HR requirements, hires and onboards new resources and ensures that all customer requirements are being delivered by the OSA team.Responsibilities• Manages a team of individual contributors and/or supervisors, overseeing HR requirements, and ensuring fairness, consistency, timeliness, as well as compliance with the organization’s policies and procedures.• Engages in setting up performance objectives, assembling project teams, resource allocation and ensuring successful execution of diverse Print operations service delivery programs and processes.• Provides expertise for Print infrastructure, application infrastructure, and related services throughout the lifecycle of a Print Services in accordance with contractually established terms, conditions and established technical standards.• Ensures that OSAs can utilize advanced enterprise monitoring tools, including network automation, system monitoring, log analysis, and network packet inspection, to maintain efficient service delivery.• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and policy development, also actively engaging in their design and implementation.• Ensures that the team is delivering to all requirements and commitments in the SOWs.• Acts as subject matter expert, identifies opportunities for process improvement and policy development and recommends changes in alignment with business tactics and strategy.• Performs talent management responsibilities including recruitment, performance management, coaching and career development.Education & Experience Recommended• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.• Typically has 7-10 years of job-related experience or 5-7 years of management experience, preferably in maintenance, quality, or a related field.Preferred Certifications• ITIL Certifications• Project Management Professional (PMP) CertificationKnowledge & Skills• Agile Methodology• Automation• Business Process• Business Requirements• Change Management• Computer Science• Data Analysis• DevOps• Finance• Information Systems• Information Technology Infrastructure Library• IT Service Management• Project Management• SAP Applications• Technical SupportCross-Org Skills• Customer Centricity• Prioritization• Resilience• Team Management• Strategic ThinkingImpact & Scope• Impacts function and leads projects requiring understanding of multiple disciplines or areas of HP.Complexity• Uses managerial concepts and company objectives to resolve issues in creative and effective ways.Disclaimer• This job description describes the general nature and level of work performed in this role.
