All personnel in this position must be eligible to or be able to obtain authorization from the appropriate agency to access applicable Export-Controlled Information. The U.S. Department of Commerce currently requires a foreign person with a most recent citizenship or permanent residency of Sudan, Ukraine, or a country currently designated in Country Group D:1, E:1 or E:2 (Supplement No. 1 to Part 740, Title 15) to have an export control license to access our Export-Controlled Information, unless they meet certain exemptions provided under U.S. export control laws and regulations. The list of applicable countries in Country Group D:1, E:1 or E:2 may be updated by the U.S. government from time to time. The current processing time for an export control license is approximately 4 to 6 months. Your employment or engagement with Infinera shall be contingent on verifying your eligibility or requirement for obtaining a necessary license and/or authorization from the appropriate agency. Infinera will collect necessary documents (such as proof of citizenship etc.) to assess license/authorization requirements if you are offered and accept the position.”Responsibilities:Assist in the preparation of all SEC filings and quarterly earnings releaseAssist with research and preparation of technical accounting memos on complex accounting issuesReview vendor contracts and agreements and ensure proper accounting treatmentDraft financial statement disclosuresActively involved in our SOX complianceWork closely with external auditors to manage technical accounting topics in the annual audit processEnsure internal controls regarding technical accounting areas are adequate and operating effectivelyParticipate in monthly/quarterly financial close review meetings to ensure appropriate accounting of transactions and accurate external reportingParticipate in special projects and ad hoc requests as neededEvaluate and implement of new accounting guidance and write technical memosKeep business partners abreast of developments in accounting and financial reporting and related policies and positions through issuance of various publications, training sessions, and other meeting forums Collaborate with cross functional teams Provide support on system implementation projectsHelp with process improvements of policies, procedures and internal controls remediationsLead ad hoc projects, analysis and initiativesQualifications:BS/BA in Accounting or Finance CPA with 4+ years Big 4 public accounting experience preferredExperience with SAP, BPC, Blackline, AuditBoard preferredExperience working in a technical accounting or similar role Excellent understanding of GAAP accounting principles, with a strong knowledge of SEC reporting regulations Ability to manage priorities while working under pressure and tight deadlinesAttention to detail, organized and strong work ethnicsPositive self-starter with high level of ethics and integrityStrong analytical, verbal and written communication skills#LI-DW1#LI-HybridInfinera is an equal opportunity employer.
