Surrounded by extraordinary people, inspiring leaders, and world changing projects, you will do more and become more than you ever thought possible.This position, under the Facilities Site Services group, is responsible for managing vendors and onsite services for employees as assigned at the Illumina San Diego HQ campus with remote responsibilities as assigned at other sites.Responsibilities:Ability to lead, manage, and collaborate with onsite vendors that provide site services for employees and impact employee experience across region.Consistently works on complex assignments requiring independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve issues.Evaluates daily priorities and product allocations to support customer orders and internal requests.Takes initiative to analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements and drives optimization changes to site services across region.Collaborate with Regional Sourcing and Procurement with the RFP, Contract and Purchase Order processes for relevant vendors as needed. Ability to read and interpret a basic contract, including but not limited to MSA’s, SOW’s and Amendments.Knowledge to provide advanced information on metric reporting based on vendor scope and KPI’s, providing management with any discrepancies, and/or need for escalations.Manage, track and report on annual budgets, purchase orders, and invoicing to the Financial Facilities Specialist to ensure accurate financial reporting.Able to manage complex financial spreadsheets in a structured way and provide financial guidance and identify key trends and conclusions at a regional level, including creation of OpEx and CapEx budgets as needed.Ability to work closely with regional teams, different site departments and functions, partnering closely with regional and global counterparts to ensure alignment.Executes projects of small to medium scale and complexity driving project level goals and associated planning and implementation in a Site or Regional setting, communicating status, risks, and recommendations to all stakeholders.Encourages others to accept responsibility and accountability.Support operational set up of remote sites and build out of new office and common area spaces.Possess expert knowledge and clear understanding of the technologies utilized in Illumina’s processes.All listed tasks and responsibilities are deemed as essential functions to this position; however, business conditions may require reasonable accommodations for additional task and responsibilities as needed.Requirements: Requires bachelor’s degree or related level of experience.Excellent communication and presentation skillsAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentAble to do physical labor for periods of time.Able to stand, walk and lift / move items up to 50lbs for long periods of time.Understanding of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and WordProblem solving skills paired with ability to be proactive and foresee next steps.Willingness to complete a broad range of administrative responsibilities ranging from entry to senior level.Confidence to take delegated tasks and ask questions for clarificationThe estimated base salary range for the Senior Facilities Specialist role based in the United States of America is: $88,200 - $132,400. Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable base pay range may be updated accordingly. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, all employees are eligible for one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
