As part of our Global Markets FP&A team, you will play a critical role in supporting the general managers leading the categories focused on driving eBay’s growth. These categories have unique customer problems to solve and a strong right to win, and this role will support the teams to drive customer satisfaction, support top line growth, and maximize category profitability. If you are a partner focused finance professional who can drive accountability and process, we would love to hear from you!What you will accomplishSupporting teams at the center of eBay’s strategy through a full set of FP&A activities, including forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes for holistic category P&Ls,Responsible for the monthly close process, which includes month end reviews, expense accruals, journal entries, flux analysis and accurate financial reporting,Build close partnerships with the business teams to identify opportunities to optimize spend and improve profitability across multiple teams,Drive accountability with business partners, including facilitating deadlines and setting targets that optimize business objectives,Work closely with Controllership to supervise compliance with GAAP, ensure that the relevant financial control processes are used, and appropriate audit trail is maintained,Provide and solicit cross-functional support to ensure alignment across a sophisticated, matrixed organization,Continuously find opportunities to automate and streamline processes to reduce cycle time and churn in all operations planning processes.What you will bring: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Finance, or related quantitative fields (Economics, Math, Statistics, or Engineering).2+years of finance experience with exposure to different areas (business analysis, accounting, FP&A, etc.).Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; and experience with financial systems such as Anaplan, SAP BPC, SAP BW, or similar is a plus.Strong interpersonal skills and a proven track record partnering effectively across functions and levels within the organization.Ability to perform in a global and matrixed organization supporting multiple partners, working through a high degree of complexity and ambiguity.Self-starter who shows the desire to learn and has great intellectual curiosity, as well as ability to prioritize tasks, manage time and to deliver quality results within tight timelines.Ability to work autonomously with business teams, highly motivated with a keen attention to detail.#LI-GJPThe pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York is expected in the range below.$73,600 - $114,400Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave).
