Job Requisition ID #24WD79799Position OverviewAutodesk is looking for a Solution Architect to join our Global Solutions Team in Customer Success Services Organisation. The right person will add technical leadership and engaged manager to the development team by providing software design & architectural input. You will create/package solutions which will help customers move to Autodesk cloud enabled technologies and work hands-on with internal Autodesk stakeholders and external partners. You will build relationships with other organisations within Autodesk namely and not limited to, Engineering, Product Management and Industry Strategy to understand and influence customer/market needs in Architecture, Engineering , Construction and/or manufacturing space.You will report to the Technical Consulting, Senior Manager in Global Solutions Organization.ResponsibilitiesUnderstand and document requirements to produce repeatable solutionsDocument architecture and implementation process to deploy solutionsProvide technical leadership within the organisation by creating and reviewing high-quality architecture designs, providing technical solutions and leading technical discussionsWork with partner's business and technical team to understand requirements, design solutions using best practicesWork with product managers, user experience designers, tech lead, etc. to translate our needs and assess opportunities by evaluating technical feasibility and translate it to well-documented engineering solutionsParticipate in code reviews to ensure new code conforms to highest standardsLead and Mentor developers and 3rd party consultantsGuide the design, architecture, and implementation of the next-generation progressive and hybrid desktop/web solutionsEnsure the solution implementations achieve the desired quality attributes, such as performance and optimization, scalability, extensibility, security, and resiliencyCreate Technology White papers for customers to adopt Autodesk Cloud solutionsCollaborate with the broader architecture community to ensure that their solutions align with target architectures and technology roadmapsEvaluate design approaches, make architectural recommendations, and implement improvements to adoption strategiesAct as "Advisor" to Autodesk partners and consultants to guide them to successMinimum QualificationsExperience working on large-scale, customer-facing, web and cloud applications.NET skills. Our language of choice on the server side is .NETCandidate should understand object-oriented design and at least one modern backend frameworkCandidate has written clean, testable and effective codeCandidate have implemented applications in Cloud platforms like AWS, Azure (preferred).Candidate has Architected solutions to integrate workflow from traditional desktop to cloud applicationsCandidate must have practical experience in creating data model for popular database platforms like Microsoft SQL Server , NOSQL databasesPractical experience building RESTful web servicesHands-on experience in JavaScriptExperience with UI frameworks and libraries (e.g. React, AngularJS, BackboneJS, jQuery)Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar field5+ years of software engineering experience with relevant BS degree, or 3+ years with advanced degreePreferred QualificationsStrong experience with Amazon Web Services OR AzureExperience in solutions in Architecture, Engineering and/or Construction IndustryKnowledge of or Certified in Architecture Assessment Methods like TOGAFDocument architecture using ArchiMate notational languagePresented and acted as "advisor" to stakeholders in past job historyExperience with Autodesk Technologies in AEC and/or Manufacturing IndustryPassionate for open source technologies#LI-RV1Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
