The typical products are Automotive and ITE/Multimedia ICs on Broadcom reference boards. The EMC Lab is Broadcom-internal with focus on R&D and internal qualification of current and new high-speed data-communications technologies.Key responsibilities and requirements:Active involvement in EMC testing for various products.EMC Lab management.Interaction with design engineers and debugging.Cooperation with EMC and design/R&D engineers.Generating and reviewing internal and external-customer EMC reports.Knowledge of EMC standards, Electromagnetics, RF.Hands-on experience with scopes, spectrum analyzers and network analyzers.Familiarity with Automotive EMC testing is desired.Familiarity with Ethernet PHYs is desired.Familiarity with MATLAB is desiredBSc and 8+ years of related experience, MSc and 6+ years of related experience, or PhD in Electrical Engineering and 3+ years of related experience. RF and/or EMC focus is highly desired.Additional Job Description:Compensation and BenefitsThe annual base salary range for this position is $107,000 - $171,000 This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
