While the specific roles may vary, one thing is certain – you will be at the center of our organization and an integral part of the team responsible for ensuring the efficient financial management and financial controls necessary to support all our business activities. This is where you make an impact.Your Day to Day As a Revenue Accountant you would be working on:Assist in daily credit card transactions to third party processing statements; calculate related FX gain/loss, chargebacks and credit card processing fees.Process revenue related month end journal entries as part of the revenue close process.Prepare account reconciliations for Deferred Revenue, Revenue, and bank and credit card clearing accounts.Develop a strong understanding of all internal order/booking systems that drive revenue to ensure processes and controls remain robust. Work with system owners to ensure systems are kept up-to-date and that business changes are understood by Revenue Accounting team before implemented.Work closely with public accountants by preparing audit schedules and providing revenue related supporting documents as part of the Company’s U.S. GAAP quarterly reviews and annual audit.Support Revenue Team to drive process improvement initiatives needed increase team efficiency by identifying, suggesting and driving new systems, process improvements and contributing on special projectsSales tax booking and reporting including VAT, VIES, GST, withholding tax and other types of indirect taxWhat We’re Looking ForAs a Revenue Accountant your background will look likeBachelor/Master studies in Finance and Accounting/Business Administration or relevant backgroundFluency in EnglishUnderstanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices including US GAAPNetSuite experience is a plusAbility to collaborate in a cross functional team environment including Sales, Legal, and Accounting colleagues located in Ireland, India and US HeadquartersStrong Microsoft Excel skills, with the ability to work with large quantities of dataReconcile all revenue related general ledger accounts timely within the monthYou’ll be working towards a shared goal with an open-minded and cohesive team greater than the sum of its parts.
