NVIDIA Networking Business Unit is looking for a Reliability Engineer for the qualification team. NVIDIA Networking division is a leading supplier of innovative end-to-end InfiniBand and Ethernet connectivity solutions and services for servers and storage. Our product line is focusing on delivering the most optimized Ethernet solutions for industries like Media and Entertainment as well as any other industry that can benefit from our Datastream and TCP/IP acceleration.What you will be doing:Participate in component-level reliability test definition using the NUDD (New, Unique, Different, and Difficult) processConduct analysis of test/field data to identify potential failure modes and reliability risksCollaborate with design teams to ensure reliability considerations are incorporated into component designParticipate in product and engineering design reviews, assessing the reliability budget of products/designs and inspire changes that improve product reliabilityIdentifying reliability threats and assessing risksImproving procedures and methodologiesDevelop & present methods of correlating reliability test results with actual field performancePerform statistical data analysis, modeling, acceleration factors calculations and MTBF predictionsWhat we need to see:B.Sc. in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)5+ years of related work experience preferred qualificationsFamiliarity with industry standards related to component reliabilityStrong understanding of statistical analysis and reliability prediction techniquesSharp thinking and good decision-making skillsWays to stand out from the crowd: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate with personnel from all levels of the organizationAdvanced data analysis skills: Emphasize proficiency in statistical analysis tools and software like Minitab, JMPCross-functional leadership: Emphasize experience in leading cross-functional teams to drive reliability initiatives across an organization.Fluent EnglishNVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
