SummaryThe Solution Consultant provides presales support in the development and presentation of our Financial Reporting solutions specifically for Canadian customers to address the complex problems that Workiva's platform and solutions solve. The qualified candidate will be able to offer specific technical subject matter expertise to the sales function, supporting the business and functional aspects of Workiva's platform and solutions via technical and architecture presentations, product demonstrations, and communication of value-based messaging about the Workiva platform. Additionally, the job requires development of example solutions, tailored content, and proofs of concept to demonstrate the viability and value of Workiva solutions. What You’ll DoExecute presales framework to engage customers, prospects, and partners via phone, web, or onsite meetings, drive the discovery process, and identify areas where Workiva solutions align to address customer/prospect needsEnsure customer success by working with Workiva Client Services team for smooth on-boarding and long term successDemonstrate knowledge across multiple domain areas developing working knowledge of industries, departments, and use cases where Workiva can have an impactAssist in developing new use-cases or by using existing templates providing proof of our solution's impact and value propositionConduct process assessments with customers, builds Proof of Concepts to validate requirements, builds and presents customer specific business casesMay begin to deliver cross-domain coaching, training, or mentoring peersWork with Product Marketing, Client Services, Scoping, and Customer Success to achieve team and company goalsAssist sales in developing account plans in support of Workiva strategies and objectivesWhat You’ll NeedMinimum QualificationsRequires a minimum of 4 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 2 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience.Fluency in French and EnglishPreferred QualificationsExperience engaging with and presenting to business or IT managers and executivesExcellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skillsSelf-motivated with strong propensity for action, results and continuous improvementDemonstrates proactive collaboration and feedback to product management teams to capture new customer requirements and enhancements, may require guidance as neededHands on technical experience with SaaS solutions, cloud technologies, and architectures preferredExperience with ERP, GRC, GL, FP&A, or Analytics & Reporting solutions and their related technology platformsPrior experience working with Financial Reporting technology, such as the Workiva platform, would be a plusExperience in the Public Sector industry is a major plus and the Financial Services industry is another plusCapability to gather business needs and present a value based, compelling software demonstration is preferredTravel Requirement & Working ConditionsUp to 35% TravelReliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, not in a Workiva officeWorkiva is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
