As an AWS Cloud Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, deploying, and managing cloud-based applications and services using Amazon Web Services (AWS). Your expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation processes will be instrumental in driving successful cloud deployments.Cloud Infrastructure Design and Deployment:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and design cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS services.Implement best practices for scalability, security, and performance.Leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK) to define and provision resources.Automation and CI/CD Pipelines:Develop and maintain automated deployment pipelines for cloud applications.Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.Automate manual tasks to improve efficiency and reduce human error.Infrastructure Management and Monitoring:Set up and configure AWS resources, including EC2 instances, RDS databases, VPCs, and S3 buckets.Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize resource utilization.Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions (e.g., CloudWatch, Horangi Warden, Prometheus, Grafana).Security and Compliance:Implement security best practices, including IAM roles, security groups, and encryption.Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, ISO27001, GDPR, HIPAA) and company policies.Collaboration and Documentation:Work closely with development teams to understand application requirements and provide cloud solutions.Document architecture, processes, and configurations.Pre-Requisites :Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure engineering, with experience in AWS cost optimizationFamiliarity with AWS cost optimization best practices, tools, and technologiesIn-depth knowledge of AWS services, such as EC2, S3, RDS, and LambdaStrong understanding of networking concepts (VPC, subnets, security groups).Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teamsAbility to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workExperience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell)Familiarity with containerization (Docker, ECS, Kubernetes) and serverless architecture.Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK).Bonus Skills:AWS Certified Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer certificationExperience with other cloud platforms, such as Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud PlatformKnowledge of CI/CD tools (GitLab CI/CD, AWS CodePipeline).Are you game?
