Global Finance Senior Project ManagerJob SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Global Finance Senior Project Manager to manage and execute projects within the Corporate Finance organization. Candidate will manage global cross-functional teams to initiate, scope, and complete projects that expand REIT compliance, change business processes, and deploy new technology. Projects will largely be for the Tax, Treasury, REIT, Stock Services, and Payroll departments and will typically require significant engagement with two or more finance departments and non-finance departments. Projects may require significant interface with IT, requiring system knowledge, familiarity with IT processes, analysis, facilitation, and judgment, as well as the ability to collaborate and influence others while delegating and following up on assigned tasks. Candidate will report to the Sr. Director, Corporate Finance & REIT.Responsibilities Define and organize a project work plan including budget development and approval; manage global cross-functional teams to achieve major milestones and ensure adherence to timelines and qualityWork with department leads to define and develop short and long-term vision for their organization leading to global scaling, development of global business requirements and processes, design specifications and utilization of current or adaptive new technologies to achieve stated visionsConduct cross-functional meetings, workshops, and in-country due diligence sessions that could extend up to several days or months in durationAct as champion for change and innovation when coordinating with other departments, resolving issues, maintaining timelines while also considering scaling for growth and the efficiency of automated processesOversee the execution of multiple tasks, performed on an interdepartmental basisAct as a liaison between the department and Finance PMO and IT teams to ensure proposed technology solutions are complete and meet requirements developed by a departmentBe able to manage sensitive information discretely and identify / on-board key contributors to help with project workDevelop presentations independently for senior managementReport weekly status and elevate critical project risks to Sr. Director, Corporate Finance & REIT; status may relate to global cross-functional projects or inter-department initiativesAssist REIT Compliance team with compliance related projects and tasks which improve or enhance current processes/procedures to scale for growth and improve efficiency QualificationsBachelor’s degree or Equivalent. In-depth knowledge and experience in project and process management.
