Job Requisition ID #24WD79797Location: Bengaluru, IN (Hybrid)Position OverviewAutodesk is looking for a Senior Solution Architect to join our Global Delivery and Solutions Team in Customer Success Services Organisation. You will add technical leadership to the implementation team to provide software design & architectural input. You will create/package solutions and strategies which will help customers move to Autodesk cloud-enabled technologies. You will work hands-on with internal Autodesk partners and external partners. You will build relationships with other organisations within Autodesk namely and not limited to, Engineering, Product Management and Industry Strategy to understand and influence customer/market needs in Architecture, Engineering , Construction and/or manufacturing space.ResponsibilitiesUnderstand and document requirements to produce repeatable solutions.Document architecture and implementation process to deploy solutions.Work with partner's business and technical team to understand requirements, design solutions using best practicesParticipate in code reviews to ensure new code conforms to highest standardsLead and Mentor developers and 3rd party consultantsParticipate in large scale projects involving other teamsCreate Implementation Strategy White papers for customers in order to adopt Autodesk Cloud solutionsWork with project managers and project sponsors to provide enterprise solutions to specific business issues across many domainsCollaborate with the broader architecture community to ensure that their solutions align with target architectures and technology roadmapsPreparation and presentation of project documentation for the customer stakeholdersEvaluate design approaches, make architectural recommendations, and implement improvements to adoption strategiesPresent "point of view" on implementation roadmap to multiple types of stakeholdersDevelop "reference architectures" and promote re-use in implementing Autodesk technologiesBe an "Advisor" to Autodesk partners and consultants to guide them to successMinimum QualificationsExperience working on large-scale, customer-facing, web and cloud applicationsStrong .NET skills. Our language of choice on the server-side is .NETYou understand object-oriented design and at least one modern backend frameworkYou have written clean, testable and effective codeCandidate have implemented applications in Cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, Google.You have Architected solutions to integrate workflow from traditional desktop to cloud applicationsYou have practical experience in creating data model for popular database platforms like Microsoft SQL Server , NOSQL databasesPractical experience building RESTful web servicesHands-on experience in JavaScriptExperience with UI frameworks and libraries (e.g. React, AngularJS, BackboneJS, jQuery)Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a similar field12+ years of software engineering experience with a relevant Engineering degree or 10+ years with an advanced degreePreferred QualificationsStrong experience with Amazon Web Services OR AzureExperience in solutions in Architecture, Engineering and/or Construction IndustryKnowledge of or Certified in Architecture Assessment Methods like TOGAFDocument architecture using ArchiMate notational languagePresented and acted as "advisor" to stakeholders in past job historyExperience with Autodesk Technologies in AEC or Manufacturing IndustryPassionate for open source technologiesLeadership experience as a Tech Lead, or Architect in previous roles#LI-RV1Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
