Autodesk's Engineering group is seeking a high-performing and experienced engineering manager responsible for helping build the best in industry solutions on the Procure to Purchase S4 platform. Our platform is at the forefront of the company’s strategic investment and has tremendous visibility and impact across Autodesk.As an Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of diverse, smart, and driven engineers through the entire engineering lifecycle of our solutions, from design to release and through production operations. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with your peers from Product, Design, Engineering and Support to synthesize critical engineering initiatives and blend that with business strategy to create and maintain a roadmap while enhancing our architecture, and keeping it robust, secure, and scalable.ResponsibilitiesExperienced in managing a strong engineering team focused on delivering projects and engineering excellence across the lifecycle of design, build, test, release and operate i.e. a full ownership modelDeep expertise in Purchase to Pay (P2P) Business Processes especially in Finance 'Account Payables' module working in SAP applications primarily S/4 HANAExperience in P2P applications like Fieldglass, Concur, Ariba or similar is highly desirableWork closely with every member of engineering team to guide them to develop their careers and reach their full potential in AutodeskCollaborate with Finance stakeholders to define your team’s vision and roadmap – creating success metrics and help prioritize the team’s work in close collaboration with other engineering teams, product owners, and other business stakeholdersLead end-to-end execution of projects and ship application releases in a timely manner, keeping your team focused on well-defined sprint priorities in Agile methodologyConstantly remove impediments to your team's progress and help your team to be successful at releasing quality software often and with confidenceGive engineers the tools, confidence, and motivation to make decisions independently that lead to the recognition of your engineers and not just yourselfBe an engineering voice and constantly advocate for best practices and agility across the teams and the larger engineering groupLead and participate in engineering-wide initiatives as a member of the engineering leadership teamCommunicate early and often, building a culture of trust and collaboration between engineers and teams across multiple offices and time zonesBe an aggressive source of finding and attracting engineering talents and keeping talents engaged and motivatedMinimum Qualifications10+ years of working experience with at least leading two projects in SAP S/4 HANA in Finance AP module around Purchasing ProcessesMinimum 3 years experience of People Management & Performance ManagementMust have a strong understanding of SAP functionalities across AP, FI, MM modulesPreferred QualificationsYou are a natural leader with a visionYou know how to motivate and inspire your agile teams to be thought leadersHave a passion for being a mentor and a teacherYou take risks and can make quick decisionsYou can take vague requirements, clarify and drive them to executionHave a passion for continuous integration and continuous delivery#LI-KS2Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
