Sales Compensation Analyst

Summary The Sales Compensation Analyst will play a vital role in administering sales compensation at Workiva. Responsibilities include the administration, analysis, and reporting of incentive compensation results. This role ensures accurate and timely calculation of incentive payouts, maintains compliance with corporate policies, and helps provide strategic insights to optimize administration of compensation plans. The analyst collaborates with various departments, including Sales Ops, Sales, and HR, to support business objectives and drive performance and will play an integral role in the administration of Xactly Incent at Workiva.  The successful candidate in this role should have advanced technical skills, enjoy analytical work and problem-solving in a dynamic environment, with the ability to independently prioritize multiple assignments. Strong communication skills are essential to effectively collaborate across different functional teams in a fast-growing and dynamic environment. What You’ll DoBe a vital part of the Sales Operations and Compensation team by supporting Workiva’s 600+ employees on global sales compensation plansAdminister and maintain incentive compensation plans for sales and other eligible teamsEnsure accurate calculation of incentive payouts based on plan criteria and performance dataCommunicate incentive plan details and payout information to employees and managementGenerate regular reports on incentive payouts, performance metrics, and trendsEnsure incentive plans comply with company policies and legal requirementsConduct regular audits to verify the accuracy of incentive calculations and paymentsAddress any discrepancies or issues related to incentive payouts promptlyMaintain incentive compensation management systems and tools (Xactly Incent)Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracyWhat You'll NeedMinimum QualificationsRequires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience in compensation analysis and administration; or an advanced degree without experienceExperience with Xactly IncentPreferred QualificationsStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and outstanding attention to detailAbility to communicate effectively with various levels of stakeholdersAbility to work collaboratively and take initiative in a quickly growing and global environmentAbility to work under pressure and in a fast-paced, global environment, including an ability to multi-task and juggle multiple tasks both big and smallAbility to be solution-oriented and help solve problems, make complex / manual processes more effective and automated and deliver creative solution to issuesHigh proficiency with Microsoft Excel and/or Google SheetsTravel Requirements and Working Conditions Willingness to travel up to 10% Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, as we embrace flexible work arrangementsHow You’ll Be Rewarded✅ Salary range in the US: $61,000.00 - $104,000.00✅ A discretionary bonus typically paid annually✅ Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire✅ 401(k) match and comprehensive employee benefits packageThe salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job in the US.
