We are seeking a Public Relations Manager to develop strategy, plan and execute across our services in Latin America and US Hispanic markets. This is first and foremost a strategy and media relations role. You will drive communication plans and be hands on, working day-to-day to engage with local journalists, influencers and creators on established and emerging platforms. You will spotlight our services and products, bringing them to life through feature stories that showcase their benefits to consumers. Description Description The successful candidate will bring energy, ideas and an appetite to bring fresh storytelling ideas to fruition. Work collaboratively with a variety of other teams and functions to build and deliver PR programs that increase awareness and understanding of our services and the integration with Apple ecosystem. This will include working closely with the country and worldwide PR Managers, Services team, Product Marketing and Marcom teams. Use your outstanding knowledge of traditional and social media landscape in LATAM and US Hispanic to broaden and deepen our relationships with premier business, technology, lifestyle, consumer and specialty verticals. Spot and identify key trends and opportunities in the media. Be the first to know about new publications, podcasts, creators, programs or journalists taking on new beats or roles and leverage them to drive strategic plans. Keep your team at WW up to date on what's going on in your market by possessing expert knowledge of competitive products, services and features. Lead and respond to day-to-day press inquiries and ensure our regular media and creator contacts are kept up to speed on the latest Apple news. Play an instrumental role in influencing, developing, and driving launch and momentum campaigns to ensure maximum awareness and coverage. Coordinate briefings with key press, via press tours, selection of Hit Lists for special events, planning of briefings, capturing coverage, and reporting on results. Have the capacity to handle crisis and other reactive PR situations with grace and ease, knowing when and how to respond to media inquiries. Identify and call out potential public issues that may impact Apple and determine how to manage and resolve issues, rumors, and conflicting messages. Successfully plan and manage a number of projects, prioritizing these to meet critical deadlines, delivering work on time and on budget. Minimum Qualifications Minimum Qualifications 6+ years of experience in public relations, influencer relations or PR agency Deep expertise in media and content creator relations, with a network of contacts in creative, tech, design, lifestyle and culture Availability for travel domestic, to the U.S. and internationally, more than 40% of the time Proficiency in Spanish and English Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Preferred Qualifications Preferred Qualifications A demonstrated track record of delivering corporate and consumer PR campaigns that have created meaningful impact University degree in Business, Communications, Marketing or Journalism or equivalent experience Self-motivated, possess a positive team-player attitude and passionate about consumer technology, lifestyle and entertainment. Self-starter who is dedicated and demonstrates creative and critical thinking abilities Able to work with ambiguity and on complex topics across multiple jurisdictions.
