We embrace diversity in thought and contribution and are committed to providing an equitable work environment that is foundational to our core values as a company and is vital to our success. Data Center Warehouse SpecialistJob SummaryAt Equinix, the Data Center Warehouse Specialist manages all inbound and outbound shipping, maintains materials and stock, and engages with customers, team members, and other departments to resolve issues. ResponsibilitiesUpdate and close shipment orders in a timely fashionReceive and handle daily shipments and track duration of how long materials are in storageMaintain records of materials received and shipped; reject unsatisfactory items where necessary and notify appropriate partnersWork with customers and other departments to resolve shipping and receiving issuesMaintain appropriate consumable stock levels (e.g. cable connectors, ordering materials at specified minimums)Handle stored and/or abandoned equipmentRemove/dispose of all packing material QualificationsExperience with productivity software (I.E. Excel, Word, Outlook)Prefer experience working in warehousing, material management, shipping/receiving or similarAbility to Obtain a U.S. Security ClearanceAble to lift heavy items up to 50 pounds; knows proper lifting and handling technique and can perform all essential job functions, including walking, standing, bending, stooping, climbing, lifting and manual dexterity, with or without reasonable accommodationThe United States targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:California (Non-SF/Bay Area), Connecticut, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Washington state: $43,000 to $65,000 per yearOur pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits.
