You will be responsible for creating and executing strategies that enable Sonos' supply chain to adapt and scale to accommodate business growth. You will lead cross-functional efforts such as negotiating commercial agreements, costs and optimizing the collaboration between the teams and CMs ensuring quality, delivery, costs, lead-times and responsiveness objectives are met. You will work closely with Engineering, Operations, Finance, Legal and other cross-functional teams to create an efficient and robust supply chain.What You’ll DoDevelop and lead global sourcing strategies, ensuring cross-functional alignment and establishing global scalability. Manage supplier relationships and successfully close complex negotiations including contract negotiations, statements of work, pricing, development and manufacturing support, among other termsDraft and negotiate commercial agreements to meet both technical, operational and commercial requirementsActively look for cost optimization opportunities and lead cross-functional efforts to achieve itInfluence CM's manufacturing processes, technology decisions, and policies in beneficial and sustainable waysComprehend the technical aspects of production and equipment to identify opportunities for cost, space, and process optimizationNegotiate MVA, NRE and CaPEx costs to ensure best-in-class cost for our productsCreate advanced analytics and data-driven approaches to improve supplier performanceEvaluate technical and business risks, analyze based on the data and create mitigation plans/alternativesLead complex engagements on supplier partnerships and strategies with Sonos' senior leadershipCollaborate with cross functional teams throughout development builds, end-to-end costs evaluation, supplier engagements, and all other items associated with executing a successful launchBe able to manage multiple projects and responsibilities in parallel What You’ll NeedBasic QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or equivalent7+ years work experience in sourcing related field Top-notch negotiation skills Experience in consumer electronicsDemonstrated ability to apply analytical techniques to problem solvingStrategic thinker and result orientedNatural leadership competencies; influences cross functional teams through style and subject matter expertiseAn ability to balance business and technical objectives in decision makingAbility to effectively work in multicultural global business environmentPreferred QualificationsMBA Preferred Travel within US as well as internationally up to 20% of the time Outstanding skills and proven track record of delivering results through collaboration with other functions including Engineering, Finance, Legal and other Supply Chain functions to ensure that cross-functional objectives are achievedYour profile will be reviewed and you'll hear from us once we have an update.
