SummaryWe're hiring a Product Manager for our Spreadsheets & Embedded Tables product area! Spreadsheets and embedded tables are foundational components of the Workiva platform. The product decisions in this space impact every single customer in a very material way.A Product Manager at Workiva is someone who has the experience to be the primary product owner for one or more product teams. Product Managers will be responsible for identifying the customer outcomes that their product team(s) work to achieve and ensuring that the products delivered meet the needs of Workiva customers. Product Managers are expected to demonstrate competencies in the full product lifecycle from discovery to delivery, including: customer discovery, leadership of the product team, product evangelism, management of their product(s), including prioritization of work and writing release notes for product releases, and management of relationships with key product stakeholders. What You’ll DoGathers and considers feedback from existing customers to ensure new enhancements, features, and solutions address their needsMeets with customers to validate features and review product iterations during development to ensure alignment with customer needsCollaborates with design to ensure features are usable and intuitiveWorks closely with lead engineers to ensure solution feasibilityAcquires deep expertise in their product, customers, and related domainsDocuments key use cases and personas to help the team understand problemsCreates story maps, roadmaps, and other artifacts to provide context and direction to product teams and stakeholdersIdentifies and resolves potential problems within product areas, processes, or teamsManages relationships with the product team, product management, product marketing, internal stakeholders, and customersWhat You'll NeedMinimum qualificationsUndergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field; an advanced degree may be considered in lieu of professional experience 4 years of related experience in a product management role in software or related areaPreferred qualificationsMBA preferred Demonstrated competency in product discovery practicesExperience in enterprise softwareExperience delivering software in an agile development environmentThe ability to influence and inspire across multiple teams and job functionsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong analytical, problem solving, and prioritization skillsTravel Requirements and Working ConditionsWillingness to travel up to 20% for team and corporate meetings, fostering relationships and representing company interests Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, as we embrace flexible work arrangementsHow You’ll Be Rewarded✅ Salary range in the US: $102,000.00 - $173,000.00✅ A discretionary bonus typically paid annually✅ Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire✅ 401(k) match and comprehensive employee benefits packageThe salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job in the US.
