This will be a major capability within overall “VCF Operations and Management” platform. You will work on Product Development (all layers, UI, middle layer and backend), perform customer-oriented R&D, new innovations, PoCs, Patents, Ideas, new Tools, Customer Support, Customer Success Programs etc……You will work on the top of line technology stack with a very high degree of freedom to explore, innovate and challenge the status quo. Our technology stack includes but not limited to Java, J2EE, Spring, Springboot, React, Angular, Postgres, Docker, Kubernetes etc. We actively participate in Hackathons, Innovation Sprint and other innovation events throughout the year spanning from extreme Automation, Containerization to AI/MLThe Senior Engineer in the R&D Org team will be responsible for providing deep technical expertise and drive Operations and Management platform to a next generation private cloud management initiative. In addition to technical design & coding, the Engineer will collaborate with distributed cross-functional teams - Engineering, GSS, Professional Services, RM, QA and Product Management to distil customer needs into workable tasks. The Engineer would work on developing algorithms, building distributed applications, APIs, fault-tolerant computing and usevirtualization as a key technology to design and implement applications that solve real-world problems. He would work on developing scalable software capable of automating Lifecycle operations for a private cloud The candidate will be part of the innovative team of engineers with strong technical background and will be working in highly challenging and state of the art technologies.Responsibilities: Innovate, Research & Evaluate new technologies and tools for a quality output. Code and implement new algorithms to solve complex problems. Triage, Analyse and Fix customer issues with quick turnaround time. Participate in architectural & design discussions and code reviews. Maintain deep technical and business knowledge of Private Cloud Management industry directions and trends. Work collaboratively with cross-functional distributed teams Core Engineering, GSS, QA and Product Management in all phases - Requirements, Development, Testing, Launch/Release and continuous refinement of tech stack Document best practices/learnings while developing & deploying product solutions. Work in an Agile development environment while continuously evaluate and improve engineering processes. Should have technology independent mindset and juggle priorities as needed.Requirements: BTech/MTech Degree or equivalent in Computer Science 7–12 years of experience with significant depth around designing and programming enterprise class products. 4+ years of experience in developing enterprise-class management software Strong background in object-oriented design and programming Min 4+ years of strong coding experience in core JAVA or any OOPS language Min 4+ years of strong experience in J2EE stack (Spring Core, Spring Boot, etc) Min 4+ years’ experience in J2EE Application Severs –Tomcat or similar Min 4+ years’ experience in working with Databases – SQL Server, Postgres, writing SQL, Stored ProceduresAdvantage : Exposure to workflow/orchestrator domain and VMware technologies is a big plus Experience in developing Restful Web Services, Container technology and AI/ML. Good understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, experience of working in product development companiesBroadcom is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.  We will consider qualified applicants without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, citizenship, disability status, medical condition, pregnancy, protected veteran status or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local law.  We will also consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records consistent with local law.If you are located outside USA, please be sure to fill out a home address as this will be used for future correspondence.
