This is an on-site position in Bangalore, India, where you will be part of a larger cross-border team of smart and motivated engineers located both in Bangalore, India and Palo Alto, USA while enjoying the autonomy and support to express yourself creatively and deliver at your best.  As a Senior Member of Technical Staff you will:Design, develop, and troubleshoot software using the latest software frameworks, databases, data modeling techniques, and tools. Deliver work products of superior quality and operational reliability.Work to improve the performance and efficiency of components in this distributed Analytics solution ecosystem.Perform peer code reviews and develop Automated Unit and Function tests.Engage with product teams to learn about existing challenges and customer success teams to field support calls.  Necessary QualificationsBS/MS degree in Computer Science or related field5-8 years’ engineering experience in a software development environment.Advanced development experience in C++, Golang and/or Python Good knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, software design patterns and distributed systems fundamentals. Knowledge of Google Protobuf, GRPC, RESTful API design and HTTP is a plus. Desired QualificationsBackground in building solutions for Network Application/Appliances. Experience building data ingestion and data modeling pipelines at scale.Experience with data modeling and statistical analyses using R/Python libraries like Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn.Building continuous integration/deployment pipelines with robust testing and deployment schedulesExperience with any of the databases - SQL, NoSQL, Opensearch, Elasticsearch.Broadcom is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.  We will consider qualified applicants without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, citizenship, disability status, medical condition, pregnancy, protected veteran status or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local law.  We will also consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records consistent with local law.If you are located outside USA, please be sure to fill out a home address as this will be used for future correspondence.
