We are looking for an Intellectual Property Business Analyst/Implementation consultant to join our team.You will be part of the Unycom solution on-boarding/implementation team. The Unycom solution is an Intellectual Property Management Solution for global companies. Our clients use our solution to manage their inventions, patents, designs, trademarks, contracts, etc. The Unycom solution is used as communication and collaboration platform between internal and external users. For this reason, the IP department's internal customer processes are managed with the Unycom solution.This is an exciting and unique opportunity for an IP Paralegal to bring the expertise on IP Law together with Unycom a leading IP management software provider.You will act as subject matter expert for the integration of IP processes into the Unycom software.About You – experience, education, skillsIP Paralegal degree is desired (“Patentanwaltsfachangestellte(r)”) or a broad Intellectual Property know-how8+ years in the intellectual property industry and with solid experience in IP management software, docketing practice, due date calculations etc.Advanced knowledge and understanding of national, regional, and international IP rules, procedures, and prosecution workflowsKnowledge and understanding of official PTO forms (e.g., EPO, WIPO, USPTO)Experience in designing IP processes/workflows in an IP management software around IP law regulationsIt would be great if you also hadExperience with IP management software, preferably the Unycom softwareStrong analytical skills and abstract thinkingTechnical affinities (XML e.g., for official templates of the USPTO)A proactive and organized way of workingHighly accurate and attention to detailAdvanced knowledge of MS Office and PDFExcellent command of German and English (spoken and written)What will you be doing in this role?Be the Subject Matter Expert for integration of IP processes into software process and legally correct triggering of deadlines and other IP law rulesWorking collaboratively and closely with different internal teamsBe the contact person for all IP related topics from internal teams (e.g., Customer Support).Support with IP related customer request and be able to outline possible solutionsReview of IP law changes provided by Clarivate’s IP Law Team and integrate it into the Unycom’s processesUpdating IP Processes (e.g., deadline calculations, official forms)Organize quarterly releases of the IP law update to our customersResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible providing periodic releases of IP law updates to our Unycom customers in accordance with new laws or law changes. The main purpose of this role is to coordinate the analysis, interpretation, implementation, testing of new or modified intellectual property laws into the Unycom software.Subsequently, the law updates are published to customers including release notes and other related documentation. This enables customers to keep their IP portfolio up to date.About the teamThe team is located in Graz (Austria) and Munich (Germany) and consists of Project Managers, Business Analysts with IP (Intellectual Property) background, Business Analysts/Technical Consultants and Migration Experts.
