AppleCare is the service division in Apple where we provide after sales service, repair and support to our customers. Our mission is to innovate and implement world-class service supply chain that deliver the right part to the right time, at competitive cost to service our customers.
AppleCare Service is looking for a detail oriented, motivated, hard-working individual with strong analytical experience. You will be responsible for the parts procurement and repair of the products/ commodities assigned. You will act as a focal point in communication with suppliers, handling the purchase orders and working on supply chain projects or process improvement to meet AppleCare’s overall goals. Description Description Implement the supply plan and procure the products or commodities assigned.
Optimise planning process, complete weekly plans to minimise future gaps by reviewing new buy and repair plan recommend by the planning system. Keeping planning system master data up to date and initiate Engineering Change request based on material life cycle.
Responsible for key performance metrics such as backlog, fill rate, inventory turn, purchase orders price variance and past due delivery management.
Analyse forecasted demand, inventory, develop weekly supply plans that meet customer demands. Results should meet AppleCare’s target of fill rate, while minimising total inventory cost
Analyse and resolve product backlogs, fill rates every day. Identify problem areas, and drive appropriate functional groups to correct.
Manage procurement and repair activities including setting up repair supply chain, execute, expedite the repair purchase orders, streamlining repair cycle, working with supplier manager to ensure supply plans meets requirements. Resolve shipping and receiving issue, invoice variance, payment issues and manage purchase orders reconciliation with the suppliers.
Find opportunities for system enhancement and work with key business partners and IT to implement continuous system improvements. Minimum Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Highly proficient with excel and have the ability to learn technical applications quickly. Strong data analytics skills & a data driven mindset. Experience with reporting tools such as Business Objects, Tableau or similar. Experience in managing suppliers, purchase orders management, onboarding new suppliers, resolving shipping and billing discrepancies. A working knowledge of supply chain practices. Effective in communication, influencing, and negotiation in a matrix organisation including one-on-one, small and large groups, and with peers and executives. Consistent track record in delivering on operational KPI’s. Experience with cross-functional collaboration to achieve outstanding results in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business analytics, data science, BIS or equivalent experience.
