Senior Regulatory Engineering Program ManagerDescription -Job Summary• The role is responsible for leading multiple project teams, and overseeing the complete process of product regulation in planning/development phase. The role ensures designs and project activities are compliant with worldwide regulation and standards. The role applies advanced subject matter knowledge to provide perspective to cross-organization projects, deliver project meet RTP and business cost target.ResponsibilitiesTake responsiblility on product regulatory compliance from planning, development and sustaining phase by self-owning and leading the commercial regulatory team as team leader with 3+ team membersCollaborate with HP cooperate level counterparts on new/coming up worldwide regulation subject them come up a plan for commercial products specifically and coordinate with commercial cross function team to follow up on product planning/development phase.Circle back to WW regulation team to discuss/come up the mitigation plan if commercial product encounter restrictions to fully comply with regulations requirement, and influence back to authority to bias regulations for HP products.Initiate cost down / resource saving plan on commercial regulation subjects.Managing overall commercial product regulation status and keep product ready to ship on schedule.Mentoring junior team members and come with succession plan in near 2~3 years.Expands relationships with internal and outsourced development partners on electrical hardware design and development.Provides guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members to set an example of regulation and development, innovation, and excellence.Education & Experience Degree in Engineering, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.10+ years of regulatory experienceProgram management experience is requiredEnglish/Madarin communication in global team meetingKnowledge & SkillsRegulation, (Environmental, newly area are highly preferred)PMP is highly preferredCross-Org SkillsEffective Communication in EnglishResults OrientationLearning AgilityDigital FluencyCustomer CentricityImpact & ScopeImpacts function and leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives.ComplexityWorks on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors.Disclaimer• This job description describes the general nature and level of work performed in this role.
