Join the team and create the future of customer experience together.We are seeking a Brazilian-qualified, São Paulo-based lawyer with 10-15 years of experience. The candidate must be fluent in Portuguese, English, and Spanish, with a strong background in technology contracts, particularly cloud-based services and software licensing agreements, partner and reseller agreements.In addition, the successful candidate will have general commercial legal knowledge and ancillary contractual experience, and experience within the following legal disciplines; administrative law, employment law, corporate law, antitrust, privacy law experience (GDPR and LGPD), and intellectual property law.ResponsibilitiesSupport sales growth in LATAM, including Brazil and Spanish-speaking countries.Draft, review, and negotiate a range of agreements focused on cloud services, SaaS, software licenses, and partner agreements.Provide commercial and general legal advice to the business.Review and negotiate contracts with suppliers.Maintain legal, compliance, corporate governance, and other corporate records.Serve as the point of contact for all legal matters in LATAM.Manage attorneys and contract management functions in the region.Handle data privacy and data security issues.Prepare standard templates for commercial transactions.Advise business leaders on significant legal matters, including Cloud services.Oversee contract approval processes, databases, and performance tracking.Collaborate with internal business partners and provide training.RequirementsLaw degree from an accredited institution and member of the Brazilian Bar Association.Proficient in commercial and contract law, with experience in Cloud, software licensing, and strategic transactions.Minimum of 10-15 years of legal experience from private practice and in-house roles.Experience with corporate governance and customer-facing work.Knowledge of GDPR/LGPD, intellectual property laws, and regulatory compliance.Excellent drafting skills, attention to detail, and executive presence.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects.Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.Willingness to travel as required.Experience with litigation and pre-litigation activities.Strong written and oral communication skills in Portuguese, English, and Spanish.Telecom or IVR industry experience is a plus.Experience with international contracts and cross-functional collaboration.If a Genesys employee referred you, please use the link they sent you to apply.About Genesys:Every year, Genesys orchestrates billions of remarkable customer experiences for organizations in more than 100 countries.
