If you already have a Candidate Account, please Sign-In before you apply.Job Description:Software developer for automated product test systems for next generation optoelectronic products used in data center connectivityResponsibilities:Co-develop software and firmware for automated product testing in a team environment in close collaboration with product developers and manufacturing test engineersLeverage platforms in place and add new capabilities in a highly structured approachBuild GUI interfaces, data acquisition modules and product specific test procedures including database interaction which operate at the highest efficiency for optimum capital utilizationRequirements:Bachelor’s Degree in or Computer Science or Engineering with 8+ years relevant industry or a Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering with 6+ years relevant industry experienceStrong background in object-oriented software design and developmentProficiency in well documented scalable softwareExperience in Python, C++ and C#  including multi-threaded software and GUI developmentExcellent problem-solving, analytical, and technical troubleshooting skillsExperience using source control systems such as SVN or GitExperience with motion control and vision systems preferredExperience in relational database interfaces to Oracle/SQL Server preferredExperience with common industrial communications protocols preferredExperience in statistical analysis techniques, JMP software, and process control preferredAdditional Job Description:Compensation and BenefitsThe annual base salary range for this position is $107,000 - $171,000.This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.Broadcom offers a competitive and comprehensive benefits package: Medical, dental and vision plans, 401(K) participation including company matching, Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP), Employee Assistance Program (EAP), company paid holidays, paid sick leave and vacation time.
