Q2's mission is to build strong and diverse communities by strengthening their financial institutions, often partnering with FinTechs and startups who want to bring change and innovation to the financial world. Working within the Product Management Team, the Senior Product Owner will be responsible for the execution of the roadmap, strategic planning of development cycles and translating value into execution.You offer deep experience in driving requirements and the development of systems to be used by a variety of people.  In the product owner role, you will be the product expert and should understand the product at a 360-degree level to ensure proper expectations are set with stakeholders and development teams.You are a bridge between product stakeholders and your scrum team, working closely with Product Management to understand and execute the product strategy.  You take delight in ensuring your product backlog enables your team to execute the product roadmap in a predictable manner, as well as respond efficiently and effectively to other customer and business needs. If you are the right fit for this position, you approach business opportunities with an unwavering sense of optimism.  Opportunities requiring broad thinking – including design, financial analysis, workflows, and data analytics – are familiar to you, and demonstrated success is your norm.  You wake up each morning with a passion to solve problems by testing and research, market data, design, and customer feedback and believe that building value is critical to job satisfaction. In addition, you take a client-centric approach and have demonstrated agility in planning and executing work.  Although you will work in the Product Group, you will continually work with, build and influence cross-departmental workgroups with your outstanding written and verbal communication skills.In addition, you take a client-centric approach to your role and have demonstrated results driving rapid modifications and initial concepts to new and existing products.  You will continually work with, build, and influence cross-departmental work groups with your outstanding written and verbal communication skills. RESPONSIBILITIES:   Execute roadmap and prioritize the backlog, with considerations to resource allocationAct as primary liaison for your products between multiple departments, including design, development, and implementationsWork in a leadership role to champion end-user experience within products under your ownershipOperate in an agile environment to manage the product backlog, assist in triage, define new product requirements, orchestrate the creation of product specifications, scope bug fixes, and communicate feature updates on an ongoing basisManage the product backlog, define new product specifications, scope bug fixes, and communicate release features on an ongoing basisDeliver product acceptance testing protocol for the development organization you work with to ensure a quality product is delivered to clientsIdentify cross-functional dependencies and coordinate with other teams to prioritize and schedule your backlog accordinglyWork with the Release Management team to develop and deliver release documentation and training materials for internal groups on key functional aspects of products under your ownershipCollaborate with Design to ensure optimal user experienceCollaborate with the Product Management team to understand the strategy and roadmap in order to formulate and execute against release plansSupport and drive new features from BETA all the way through General AvailabilityResponsible for ensuring that all security, availability, confidentiality, and privacy policies and controls are adhered toEnsures that product is adherent to regulations, banking, accessibility, etc. EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:  Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Information technology or Computer Science and a minimum of 5 years of related experience into Product Management; or an advanced degree with 4+ years of experience; or equivalent related work experience in product management within the Fintech or Financial services industryExperience working with ACH payments is preferredEquivalent combination of education and experience acceptableExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skillsStrong teamwork, organization, and problem resolution skillsStrong training and presentation skillsExperience working in an agile software development environmentStrong knowledge of agile methodologies, such as Scrum or KanbanSelf-starter with proven ability to deliver results with minimal assistanceAnalytical mindset with the ability to gather and analyse user feedback, market research, and industry trends to inform product decisionsPossessing a SAFe POPM or Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO) certification would be an added advantage#LI-AS1#LI-Hybrid#LI-OnsiteThis position requires fluent written and oral communication in English.
