We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our mechanical engineering department as a key player in the development of next-generation Network Adapter cards. This key position includes leading the product and fixtures design, close interaction with HW, PMC (Product management & configuration), NPI, Thermal, Layout, Quality and Supply chain groups.What you will be doing:Drive all the mechanical design aspects of Network Adapter cards, custom Mezzanine boards and the test/assembly infrastructure (fixtures and jigs) to enable high volume manufacturingDrive multiple early design concepts while working in fast-paced product development cyclesIndependently lead product design from concept, through detailed design, and support it during Qualification, NPI and MP stagesJoin and lead task forces to investigate and support production excursions, failure analysis and reliability issuesCollaborate in research of groundbreaking technologies, materials, and processes with other groups to bring in creative ideas that solve ever growing needsWhat we need to see:B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or higher or equivalent experience5+ years of experience in electro-mechanical product design, including PCB/PCBA designSelf-motivated with a sharp learning curve and able to work independently and as a teammateExcellent hands-on experience with 3D CAD. Autodesk Inventor is an advantageStrong background in design of components for high-volume manufacturing technologies, such as: stamping, die casting, extrusion, and injectionExperience in developing fixtures/jigs for product assembly/testingHigh awareness for quality and manufacturability, and understanding of statistical tolerance analysis techniques, CTF dimensioning, and geometric tolerancingStrong verbal and written communication skills in both English and HebrewWays to stand out from the crowd:Working with supply chains, contract manufacturers and leading resources such as consultants, component suppliers, contractors, and manufacturing partners is an advantageMechanical stress simulation tools or development of liquid-cooled systemsExperience in IDF file exchange with Layout engineersExperience in development and implementation/training of new design and flow methodologiesDesigning PCIe and OCP3.0 standards-compliant productsNVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
