Data Center Customer Operations IIIJob SummaryAs the Data Center Customer Operations Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our data center. Your responsibilities will encompass prioritizing, fulfilling, and meticulously ensuring the quality of time-bound ticket-driven requests within the data center environment. This includes managing tasks such as smart-hands support, installation/de-installation of cages/cabinets/cabling, handling custom orders, tape backups, and escort services.ResponsibilitiesInstallationsRacks and stacks customer equipment with precision and careProficiently interprets installation plans, including Visio Drawings and Spreadsheets, to implement installations accurately.Queue ManagementEfficiently manages task priorities from the Oracle queue, ensuring strict consistency to all contribute timesTesting/TroubleshootingConducts troubleshooting of switched/multiplexed/media converted circuits and calls out issues to the networking group when necessaryCross ConnectsInstalls, tests, and modifies cross-connects according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring meticulous cable management of various types of connectionsDemonstrates expertise in installing and testing advanced cross-connect circuits.Documentation/ReportingMaintains detailed written records of all work activityCustomer ManagementSupports customer satisfaction through timely and precise order execution and quality assurance checksQualificationsFresh Graduates are welcome to apply!Diploma or degree in engineering, particularly in electronics and telecommunicationsWillingness to work on rotational shift arrangementsEquinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability.
