Senior Portfolio ManagerDescription -Job SummaryThis role is responsible for ensuring the delivery and support of the Business Technology Solutions Portfolio Management tool and the supported Portfolio Management processes. The role initiates and cultivates relationships with influential decision-makers at the highest levels and key tactical leaders, advocating for best practices, and shaping strategic business planning with a pronounced SOX controls influence. The role also provides mentorship to lower-level employees and ensures the realization of operational and strategic plans.ResponsibilitiesIdentifies opportunities where IT/FIN can deliver cost-effective, standardized solutions to cater to the needs of multiple business, function, or geography entities.Leverages extensive domain-specific business acumen to propel engagement in large-scale IT, FIN, and BU domains.Initiates and nurtures relationships with influential decision-makers positioned at the highest levels of the business, function, geography, or organization, alongside key tactical leaders.Recognizes the demand for new IT/FIN processes and substantial enhancements to major processes and spearheads their development and implementation.Advocates for the proliferation of best practices developed from interactions between businesses, functions, or geographies and other counterparts.Engages in strategic business planning where FinCorp influence is pronounced and shapes the overarching business strategies of customer organizations.Contributes innovative ideas and may lead large cross-functional teams, exercising independent judgment to solve unique and complex problems impacting the business.Provides mentorship and guidance to lower-level employees, thus ensuring the realization of operational and strategic plans.Education & Experience RecommendedFour-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Finance, Information Technology, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.Typically has 10+ years of work experience, preferably in IT and Finance projects, process improvement, or a related field.Knowledge & Skills•Portfolio, program, and Project Management• Agile and waterfall methodology• Automation• Business Analysis• Business Process• Business Requirements• Business Systems Analysis• Computer Science• Data Analysis• Finance• Marketing• Process Improvement• SAP Applications• Scrum (Software Development)• SQL (Programming Language)• Systems Analysis• Systems Development Life Cycle• Workflow ManagementCross-Org Skills• Effective Communication• Results Orientation• Learning Agility• Digital Fluency• Customer CentricityDisclaimerThis job description describes the general nature and level of work performed in this role.
