You know that success hinges on commitment, that our differences make us stronger, and that the finish line is always sweeter when the whole team crosses together.Overview:The Director, Americas Renewals and Sales will be responsible for providing guidance and leadership to a group of sales leaders that focus on renewing, upselling, and cross-selling to existing accounts through their direct reports (Relationship Managers). Strong sales, customer engagement, business acumen and the ability to quickly assess and understand a customer’s needs are essential to success in this role.  In addition, being able to inspire, coach and guide a team of teams to success is essential. Your team will work proactively toward the renewal and growth of customers by carefully managing and monitoring their customer base, outreach, forecasting and implementing the correct renewal strategy.  You will be expected to partner with outside sales and channel teams to collaborate on go to market strategy and segmentation planning. What you will do:Lead, mentor, and develop a team of managers that is focused on customer success, retention, and upsellsGuide team through renewal opportunities, forecasting, negotiation and close of renewals prior to contract expirationAccurately forecast projected bookings and performance of the Renewals teamMentor team members through observation of their work and develop learning plans to improve their abilities, skills and knowledge of the Alteryx platform, strategies, and client facing skillsWork with sales leaders to drive sales through optimizing processes, training and development of their teams, and development of a culture of collaboration, learning, and successProvide monthly/quarterly updates to sales leadershipPartner cross-organizationally with Marketing, Channel, Ops, Finance and others to drive required business outcomesConduct quarterly business reviewsSome travel Experience and Skills8+ years of experience in sales leadership10+ years of full sales cycle management in tech/softwareProven track record of success in sales as an account executive, or equivalentDemonstrated ability to effectively navigate customer objections and challenges toward a win-win outcome and renewalDemonstrated ability to work under the pressure of a constantly changing and rapidly evolving work environment and industryExperience with forecasting and deal managementAlteryx is committed to fair, equitable, and transparent compensation.
