Market Intelligence and Insights:Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, customer behaviour, and the competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.Systematically share strategic insights across eBay to foster a continuous feedback loop between the market and global teams.2. Strategic Market Planning and Projects:Identify new opportunities for the UK team and focus them on the highest priority opportunities, demonstrating deep analytics to enhance our strategies to grow customers.Be a trusted thought partner to the UK leadership team, helping refine and implement the annual UK market plan, ensuring alignment with eBay's global strategy.Lead cross-functional initiatives that are critical to the success of eBay UK, ensuring alignment and execution against our strategic goals.3. Operational Excellence:Strengthen business operations, including planning and performance management, to drive efficiency and effectiveness across the organisation.Support the establishment and maintenance of UK market scorecards, driving clarity around goals and performance metrics.Facilitate the optimisation of processes and tools to enhance collaboration and efficiency across UK teams.4. Executive and Cross-functional Engagement:Craft compelling market narratives that articulate our vision, strategy, and progress to partners both within and outside the company.Prepare analytical reports and presentations for executive meetings, contributing to a coherent narrative around the UK market.Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure a unified approach to market challenges and opportunities.Facilitate the flow of information between the UK market team and other parts of the organisation, ensuring that UK leadership is always informed and that key messages are conveyed accurately and timely.Represent the UK market in various internal forums, articulating our strategy and values with confidence and clarity.What you will bringData Fluency: With a strong analytical approach and confidence in interpreting complex data sets to derive actionable insights and can communicate your findings effectively to stakeholders at all levels. Experience with a diverse range of data sets, including market and economic data, qualitative/quantitative customer data, product-level data and have a deep understanding of growth metrics. Advanced Excel skills required, and SQL experience preferred.Strategic Vision & Commercial Savvy: Proven experience of developing and implementing strategies that drive business growth.
