Administers/designs the inside/telesales representatives’ sales incentive plan. Trains, mentors, coaches, and supervises inside/telesales staff. Has thorough knowledge of the organization’s products/services. Prioritizes and allocates resources. Typically works with the field sales organization to ensure that representatives are provided adequate support in the field. May work with inside/telesales representatives to develop channel partnerships. We are currently looking for a dynamic leader to inherit an already successful team to focus exclusively on one of our most coveted regions. This person will be responsible for driving customer satisfaction, portfolio awareness, and ultimately net new revenue growth.This role is in Pittsburg, PA is a hybrid position 3 days per week in office.Your day-to-day Guide and motivate a team of Account Executives to drive revenue growth through a positive, high-touch customer experienceConnect Account Executives to key resources and clear roadblocks, enabling them to achieve and/or exceed their revenue goalsMaintain a positive culture that inspires performance and achievementInstill and maintain a quality and integrity-based sales process with respect to rep/customer interactionsActively engage attracting and securing top talent for our rapid growth plansProvide training and ongoing coaching and development to Account ExecutivesPrepare and execute a thorough business plan, including planning for both current and future quarter successTrack/report on key performance indicators (KPIs)Prepare and present team forecast to executive managementMaintain internal partnerships with various business units including Sales Engineering and MarketingBecome a perpetual student of Proofpoint products, and the ever-changing Cybersecurity industry!May require modified work hours to cover accounts in other time zones, and occasional travel for key accountsWhat you bring to the teamMinimum of 3 years of experience leading high performing inside or field sales teamsDemonstrable success coaching sales teams to success in either the mid-market or enterprise market segmentsProven and demonstrable success as an individual contributor in a quota carrying sales roleStrong leadership experience, with a focus on training, coaching, motivation, and career developmentExpert knowledge of the full sales cycle, from prospecting, cold calling through to negotiation and closingAbility to occasionally function in “Player/Coach” role that may include customer facing engagementAbility to provide situational coaching and advice and help guide deals to closureBackground selling Security or SaaS products is a plusTechnical aptitude, and ability to learn new concepts quicklyExperience working with Salesforce.com or other CRM is a plusBachelor's Degree or equivalent experience requiredWhy ProofpointAs a customer focused and driven-to-win organization with leading edge products, there are many exciting reasons to join the Proofpoint team.
