The Proposal Manager will play a pivotal role in the company's sales process by leading the development of compelling proposals, bids, and other sales collateral to win new business and support existing client engagements. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent project management skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.Key Responsibilities: Proposal Development: Lead the end-to-end development of high-quality proposals, bids, and RFP responses in collaboration with cross-functional teams including Sales, Product Management, Security, Marketing, and LegalContent Creation: Develop persuasive content tailored to client requirements, including executive summaries, solution overviews, pricing tables, and case studiesProject Management: Manage proposal timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure on-time submission and compliance with client requirements. Ensure coordination across the different teamsBid Strategy: Develop win themes, value propositions, and competitive differentiation strategies to maximize the company's chances of success in the sales processQuality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews of proposal documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, consistency, and alignment with brand standardsKnowledge Management: Maintain a repository of reusable content, templates, and best practices to streamline future proposal development efforts. Facilitate knowledge sharing and enablement of new team membersClient Engagement: Collaborate with Sales and Account Management teams to understand client needs, objectives, and pain points, and tailor proposal content accordinglyQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Marketing, Communications, or related fieldExperience in Content Creation, preferably in the software industry, enterprise IT, IT Asset Management and security spaceProven track record of successfully building and managing knowledge repository and enabling technical teamsStrong project management skills with the ability to orchestrate different teams, prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environmentExceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and conciselyProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with proposal management software (e.g., RFPIO, Responsive) preferredCollaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organizationDetail-oriented with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.Flexera is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
