Calix provides the cloud, software platforms, systems, and services required for communications service providers to simplify their businesses, excite their subscribers and grow their value.Responsibilities:Manage the continuous development and optimization of a high performing Sales Engineering teamDevelop and drive territory, business, and account planning in tandem with the field sales leadersCollaborate with sales resources to bring subject matter expertise, strategy and support for customer engagementsDevelop strong relationships with large and strategic customers and partnersAggregate feedback from customers into Calix product development and field marketing teams to improve our portfolio and value messagingPresent on Calix and industry topics at both public events and customer briefingsWork closely with technology partners to help complement the Calix solutionWork closely with VARs to aggressively grow our businessQualifications:Minimum 10 years of experience in networking, industry trends and standards, and managed servicesMinimum 5 years of proven leadership experience in technical and services solution sellingMinimum 5 years of sales experience as a Sales Engineer and/or SE leaderStrong knowledge in customer support operations and familiar with customer support systemsFamiliarity with data analytics and telemetry to run and track sales campaignsExperience with Cloud based customer support and operational SaaS based solutionsStrong interpersonal, written and public speaking skills and the ability to work effectively with multiple audiences and levels internally and externallyDemonstrated leadership experience working with teams across all aspects of the sales pursuitBachelor’s degree in engineering preferred, related discipline, or equivalent experienceTrack record leading technical teams who consistently over-achieve assigned objectivesLocation: Southeast United States: FL, GA, SC, NC, TN, AL, MS, LA#LI-RemoteCompensation will vary based on geographical location (see below) within the United States.
