And together, we are crafting the future of business in a digital world.You will also play a key part in advocating for your customers within VMware Tanzu, sharing their experience and requirements with the account teams, support, engineering and product managers, helping to draw the shape of our products and contributing your point of view for our shared success. As a VMWare Tanzu TAM, you will have the opportunity to specialize in Tanzu technologies and solutions by developing and expanding your deep technical knowledge and skills for related VMware Tanzu products.  You will communicate regularly with customers and use your knowledge of their architecture to develop support plans, upgrade plans, and status reports recognizing their priorities, challenges, initiatives, and potential areas for improvement. You will use your judgment and technical expertise to identify, document, and report issues with design, reliability, and maintenance issues. You will also be able to create a long-term relationship with a small number of assigned customers while developing an understanding of the customer’s technical goals as they align to their business goals and overall impact of VMware’s Tanzu solutions on business results.Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing? During the first year, you will be onboarded into the VMWare Tanzu TAM role and work with your assigned customers. The first thing that you will achieve is completing a well-organized 30-day onboarding plan that will be prepared for you.You will be assigned a buddy to pair with. We believe shadowing and building team partnerships provides the foundation for a safe and collaborative working environment where team members can thrive.You will develop deep technical knowledge and skills for a given VMware Tanzu technology area.Three months after engaging with your customers, you will be able to articulate their long-term and short-term goals and how they connect to the bigger picture of their business identifying the gaps that need resolved You will establish a long-term relationship with your customers.You will partner with your customers to accelerate their desired outcomes through best practice guidance that enables rapid deployments and adoption of VMware Tanzu technologies.You will educate your customers on emerging technologies and align their technical roadmaps with VMware Tanzu.Between six to twelve months from the start of your customer engagement, you will be able to present your mutual accomplishments and deliverables that we will provide to you.You will provide project leadership, coordination, and architectural guidance for the customer’s major VMware Tanzu initiatives.You will serve as an advocate for your customer(s), providing clear and constructive product feedback to VMware Tanzu product management teams based on customer use-cases and requirements.If not already certified, you will aim to achieve your Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)to help you achieve your goals and objectives. The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis? As part of the VMWare Tanzu TAM team, you will be working for a long-term period with a small number of assigned and strategic customers. The activities performed are all aligned with a single purpose, to help our customers achieve their desired outcomes while using VMware Tanzu technology. By helping our customers, we will also help drive the adoption and consumption of the VMware Tanzu technologies the customer has purchased.You will also be collaborating with the broader VMware by Broadcom account team and specialists as you perform the following: Be there for your customers. Help them build their business for success and transform from customers to partners to the digital journey.Like to think out of the box? Use your skills to help your customers take the technology to the limit and utilize all that our products can give them. Our customers love to see their investment being fulfilled and you will make sure that they do.Help the customer to translate business requirements to technical solutions by building knowledge and understanding of the possibilities presented by different platforms.Do you like connecting with people? Be the messenger that breaks down the corporate silos between different technical teams and business teams using simple language and personal skills.When troubles come, the VMWare Tanzu TAM rises! Not everything always goes smoothly. At those points you will take leadership on the situation and help everyone to get back on track.You will use your organizational and planning skills to keep track of your customer's plans, adjusting as needed, and drive them to completion.You will help VMware by Broadcom to create ‘customers for life’ by collaborating with our Customer Success, Global Support, Education, Professional Services, Development, and Sales teams- all to make sure that we drive outcome-focused value to our customers.Deliver presentations to c-suite-level customer stakeholders as well as engaging with technical leaders; Confirming and clarifying information gained from listening to customers before transmitting / sharing.Effective at working independently and in a virtual team settingYou will also contribute back to the internal global TAM community of like-minded experts, sharing the experiences that you gain by working with your customers(s), while also learning from your peers.Leverage your language skills by speaking and writing Korean and English fluentlyWhat is the leadership like for this role?
