Workday's Financial Management Applications help our customers achieve the highest levels of business performance and financial excellence by accommodating multi-entity, multi-book, multi-currency requirements for global organizations, supporting alternate chart of accounts, and global tax framework.About the RoleOur Financials Tax & Compliance Product Management team is seeking a Product Manager with proven understanding of Transaction and Withholding taxes - specifically, Global Withholding taxes, general principles of VAT, operational accounting and core financial enterprise business applications.  When you join Workday as a Tax & Compliance Product Manager you will:Lead product discovery and delivery to help achieve exceptional product outcomes for our customersDefine and execute the Product  roadmap aligned with our overall Financials strategyOwn the functional application design within your domainApply your combined functional and systems knowledge to analyze customer business processes, implementing required localization requirementsCollaborate internally with the engineering and QA teams to transform customer pain points into functional specifications and storyboardingBuild next-generation business applications in a continuous delivery cycle, acting as the voice of the customer and the product management team to ensure product and feature delivery within an Agile environment.Develop presentations, mock-ups, flowcharts, and product  demonstrations  to facilitate effective communication with stakeholders.About YouBasic Qualifications3+ years of product management experience2+ years of product owner experience or working closely with product manager to translate customer and market needs into product deliverables and release support through the entire product life cycle2+ years experience as a large enterprise product manager or Financials system implementation specialist or Indirect Tax Enterprise product specialist. Other QualificationsMinimum 2 years Product Management experience with expertise in Indirect Taxes, Tax Determination & Reporting or similar regulatory compliance.Enterprise system configuration, administration, integration or implementation experiencePassion for building better user friendly enterprise financial applications that enable users to spend less time consolidating data across different systems without sacrificing functionality and complianceLearning agility, detail oriented, decisive, and comfortable with ambiguity.Initiative taker, early adopter, technology enthusiastProactive communicator and collaboratorOur Approach to Flexible Work With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote.
