Solutions Architect - Emerging Solutions

The Solutions Architect - Emerging Solutions directly interfaces with our customer and partner network to deliver Workiva solutions that help achieve successful customer outcomes, with particular focus on Workiva’s emerging solutions (currently ESG & Sustainability). This role is responsible for scaling our emerging solution to the wider Workiva Organisation and is on the front line of challenging the status quo of how we at Workiva are successful in the solutions delivery. This role is for individuals who have a passion for continued learning, comfort in the unknown, and enjoy the scaling part of a Saas company’s growth.Being the starting point for our newest solutions, the Solutions Architect - Emerging Solutions, works closely with other internal teams cross functionally including project management, customer success, support, solution engineering, and product development to deliver outstanding customer implementations across Europe.  What You’ll DoLead the delivery of Workiva solutions contracted services to customersLead the enablement and oversight of our expanding partner networkDefine/Scale delivery models for Workiva’s solutionsPerform detailed discovery sessions to understand business needs and requirementsCreate a solution design that achieves outcomes within the Workiva platformDirectly interface with customers and partners to define standardized solutionsMaintain and enhance knowledge of financial, risk, or operational reporting using the Workiva platform through a commitment to ongoing trainingParticipates in ongoing internal, partner and customer training effortsWork closely with our Product / Development teams to build out Workiva’s latest offeringsWhat You'll NeedMinimum QualificationsUndergraduate Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field4+ years of experience in service delivery role, finance, accounting, digital transformation, or a related fieldPreferred QualificationsDemonstrated knowledge with Financial Reporting, ESG/Sustainability, (Environmental, Social and Governance) or GRC (Government, Risk and Compliance) platforms or related subject matterHands on experience within SaaS and cloud technologies, or data architectures preferredExperience working within a consulting or public accounting firm preferredExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to present topics clearly and succinctlySelf-motivated with strong propensity for action, results and continuous improvementAbility to influence and drive change in business processesA strong individual contributor with intellectual curiosity to positively impact the ability to manage multiple servicesEnhanced technology knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and Google Workspace applicationsFamiliarity with any of the following: SQL, JSON, REST, or Python is a plusDemonstrated ability to curate and maintain customer-first relationshipsTravel Requirement & Working ConditionsReliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, not in a Workiva officeUp to 20% travelWorkiva is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We believe that great minds think differently. We value diversity of backgrounds, beliefs, and interests, and we recognize diversity as an important source of intellectual thought, varied perspective, and innovation.  Employment decisions are made without regard to age, gender identity, race, religion, disability status, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic.  Workiva is committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodations to applicants with disabilities.
