We are looking for a Senior Healthcare Research and Data Analyst to join our Med tech Insights team at Clarivate in Bengaluru. Clarivate’s Medtech Insights team harnesses real-world healthcare data, in-depth interviews, and our unique mix of in-house expertise to help medical device companies make some of their most important business decisions. The team consists of 30+ highly skilled professionals and reports to the Medtech Insights Manager. We have a great skill set in healthcare market analysis and data modeling, and we would love to speak with you if you have experience in forecasting and market research methodologies.About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishmentsWork experience: 2-4 years of relevant job experience in healthcare market research or data analysis.Knowledge, skills, or abilities: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and advanced formulas such as VLOOKUP; proven experience in market research methodologies and healthcare market forecasting.Education: Master’s degree (MA, MS in life sciences or MBA) is required.It would be great if you also had .Experience in forecasting within the healthcare domain.Well-developed therapy expertise in at least one area of the medical device market.Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.Proven leadership capabilities with experience in managing project deliverables and handling high-profile clients from Fortune 500 companies.Business acumen to support sales success and internal/external stakeholder relationships.What will you be doing in this role?Interviewing industry participants and related medical professionals and searching Clarivate's proprietary in-house research repository for relevant data.Using financial, regulatory, and government documents to find key medical approval data, and modeling and forecasting medical device markets.Scoping areas of emerging interest to our clients, integrating disparate data points into unified market models, and interpreting qualitative data into quantitative measures.Creating hypotheses on market and competitive dynamics based on primary and secondary data, and using MS Excel to manipulate large amounts of data.Writing and preparing comprehensive research reports, including market and competitive analyses, and forecasting markets based on expectations and new product developments.Adding insight and perspective to Clarivate’s syndicated data products and custom projects and providing professional responses to customer inquiries.Acting as Clarivate’s key market expert during client interactions, assisting sales/marketing with product information, supporting junior team members’ deliverables, and participating in thought leadership activities.About the TeamThe Med Tech Insights team at Clarivate is integral to our broader Medtech division, providing essential data-driven insights to medical device companies. The team collaborates closely with internal and external stakeholders, leveraging real-world healthcare data and expert interviews to support critical business decisions.
