Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Strategic Sales Director, to join our Academic and Government segment. In this role you will lead the Althea sales effort for international markets (outside North America) and partner with the Alethea product team and the Sales teams in the region and internationally to achieve the sales goals and the business development for this product, and other selected innovation products. About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments At least 10 years of relevant experience selling enterprise software solutions, preferably into the academic market.Bachelor’s Degree in related fieldExperience utilizing Salesforce.com.It would be great if you also have . . .  Master’s degree in related field.Experience in financial modelling and analysis, particularly sales forecasting.What will you be doing in this role?  Actively participates in or leads regional sales meetings; participates in strategic planning & sales leadership meetings.Drives customer acquisition, client retention and market expansion for the Alethea product and other selected innovation products.Collaborates with leaders in Sales organization and the BU to help identify, develop, and prioritize GTM initiatives.Develops and leads strategic sales initiatives related to the products in scope.Partners with the regional Product Sales leaders and Managers and Account Managers in developing and sustaining key relationships to maximize sales opportunities. Actively participates in sales and forecast meetings.About the Team  Alethea operates as part of the newly established Clarivate Academia & Government Innovation Incubator. The Innovation Incubator further accelerates Clarivate's strategy to drive innovation, utilize artificial intelligence and introduce novel solutions for its academic users and customers.The Strategic Sales Director partners closely with the product, regional sales (Product Sales and Account managers), and marketing teams to advance the market adoption and go-to-market initiatives for Alethea in international markets (outside NA).
