Royalty Finance Analyst

We are seeking a Royalty Analyst to join our Finance team at Clarivate. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the accuracy of royalty calculations, distribution of payments, and maintaining the integrity of the royalty accounting system and royalty accounting function. Collaborating closely with the global finance team, this role requires close coordination, communication, and effective cross-functional relationships.About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments   Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent work experience1+ year of corporate finance experienceIt would be great if you also had...Experience analyzing data for trends and errorsWorking knowledge of general accounting concepts, monthly close process, financial reporting, and GAAP conceptsIntermediate to Advanced Excel skillsWhat will you be doing in this role?  Interpreting royalty agreements, understanding the terms, conditions, and calculations to ensure customer service and satisfactionCalculate and document reconciliations of royalty accounts on a monthly and annual basisAssist in posting general ledger entries for the Royalty departmentEvaluating the accuracy of Royalty accruals in accordance with the Publisher contractual agreementsCreate and analyze reporting for publishers and content providersAssist in the distribution of required royaltiesTake part in process improvement and audit processes to ensure qualityAbout the Team The Accounting team consists of six individuals including two senior accountants, two lead accountants, and two managers, but will have access and communication with all levels of the company. Our role is global, collaborating with all constituents in Finance, Product Management, and Payables. Collaborating daily with all levels of the company with the goal of improving our financial reporting, product profitability, and using our knowledge base to assist where needed.Hours of Work   Regular business hours Monday-Friday (EST time zone)This is a hybrid position working 2 days a week in office in Ann Arbor, Michigan#LI-LP#LI-HybridClarivate is an Equal Opportunity Employer Vets/Minorities/Women/Disabled
