Intrigued?Autodesk Construction Solutions is looking for a Principal DevOps Engineer to join its DevOps group in the Enterprise Center Of Excellence. This group is responsible for developing solutions that enable application developers to deliver high-quality software and keep the products and services that we support running as reliably and efficiently as possible.ResponsibilitiesWork closely with our engineering teams to improve performance and reliability for new feature developmentDesign, write, document, and deliver software to improve product availability, scalability, and performanceCoordinate and perform major upgrades with zero downtimeCreate tools to automate requests made of your team instead of treating each request as a manual taskSupport the products and services we build by participating in an on-call rotation with your teammatesMinimum QualificationsCuriosity about how things workObsession with automating everything you can with an eye towards simplicity and eleganceAdvanced knowledge of Unix/Linux systemsScripting experience in at least one scripting language and familiarity with othersAbility to troubleshoot everywhere from build through Production issuesExpertise in at least one of the following with a preference towards AWS: AWS, Azure, GCPSelf-motivated and able to deal with periods of full autonomyEmpathetic with great communication skillsTeam-orientedPreferred QualificationsInfrastructure as code (Terraform)AWS products: ECS/Fargate, RDS (Postgres), SNS/SQS, IAM, S3, CloudFront, etc.Jenkins and SpinnakerIndustry security certifications and processes (eg: SOC2, FedRAMP, etc)Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $141,400 and $228,800. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
