The ideal candidate should possess high level expertise to design the system, oversee installation, monitor its functioning, and provide guidance to the team on its use. A foundational understanding of Mainframe computing environment is essential. The successful candidate should possess a strong willingness to learn new Dev/Ops software enhancements, get to know and understand product roadmap and its associated software product group.Primary Function:Duties include but are not limited to the following:Installation, configuration, and support of View/Deliver within a complex high availability environment.Integration and strategies of involving the View/Deliver product. Diagnostics analysis within the software and the platforms where they exist.Technical Skills and Experience:5+ years of experience of Installation and configuration of Broadcom Dev/Ops software.5+ years of experience of support and administration on Broadcom Dev/Ops software.5+ years of experience of integration of Dev/Ops software into a Mainframe environment.5+ years of experience with Application Program Interface implementation and support.5+ years of experience with security compliance and audit readiness methodologies, Mainframe Security architecture and setup experience.Possess in-depth knowledge of a given computing platform and relevant marketplace; can speak with authority, e.g., on trends, best practices, compliance practices, etc.People and Communication Skills:Ability to listen to client requirements and organize them into a list of business needs and objectivesAbility to provide written communication back to the project manager and customer regarding build and integrate instructions, assigned task status, and ability to communicate through channels such as knowledge transfer instructions to run the solution after implementation is complete.Ability to follow a communication plan established by the project managerAbility to document clearly all the aspects listed above and ability to clearly communicate in writing project statuses, task status and communicate in writing build and integration results.Desire to learn emerging technologies including (Zowe, Brightside and installing in z/OS) and apply them to customer environments.Key Requirements:A senior consultant will have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8+ years of experience in IT.Additional Job Description:Compensation and BenefitsThe annual base salary range for this position is $84,000 - $135,000 This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
